SunTrust Offering 5% Cash Back On Their Cash Rewards Credit Card

SunTrust offers a credit card for people who want to earn considerable cash back and other rewards.

With SunTrust Cash Rewards Credit Card, customers can enjoy up to 5% cash back on purchased gas and grocery items, which can total to $300 during the first 12 months upon approval.

After this introductory offer has elapsed, cardholders can still avail 2% Unlimited Cash Back on the qualified gas and grocery items that they bought as well as 1% cash back on their other eligible purchases.

Aside from cash back rewards, SunTrust Cash Rewards Credit Card customers can also enjoy loyalty cash bonus of 10% to 50% depending on their banking relationship with SunTrust.

Customers also have flexible rewards options where they can get hundreds of options for redemption, which include cash back, travel miles, e-gift cards, and many others.

Cardholders can also access their FICO credit score updated every month. SunTrust also provides some insights into the factors affecting the score, as well as some credit tips to improve the credit standing of its customers.

Application Process

SunTrust advises aspiring cardholders to apply for its Cash Rewards Credit Card online. Applicants must be over 18 years and are citizens or permanent residents of the U.S. For this card, SunTrust considers applicants with at least an average credit score.

The SunTrust Cash Rewards Credit Card a credit limit of $500 or above, which can change depending on the creditworthiness and financial capacity of the customer.

Fees and Interest Rates

SunTrust does not charge an annual fee for its Cash Rewards Credit Card. However, cardholders should expect different fees such as cash advance fee of 4% of the amount of each withdrawal or $10.00, whichever is greater. It also comes with a late payment fee worth $39. This card has an interest rate of 13.49% to 23.49% for purchases and 27.24% for cash advances.
