HSBC Offering 3% Cash Back on All Purchases with Their Cash Rewards Mastercard® Credit Card

Interested cardholders who are looking to get cash back rewards will find great deals with the help of HSBC’s Cash Rewards Mastercard Credit Card. With this card, users can earn 3% cash back on their everyday purchases for the first 12 months within opening their account. However, applicants are advised to note that the introductory offer will only be viable for the first $10,000 worth of purchases.

After 3% cash back applicable for 12 months, users can earn 1.5% unlimited cash back with all of their purchases. In addition, individuals who availed of this program will be given a 10% anniversary bonus on the cash rewards earned for the year.

In addition to the 3% cash back offer, the HSBC Cash Rewards Mastercard also provides its customers with an introductory offer of 0% APR on purchases and balance transfers for the first 12 months. To avail of this offer, cardholders must make the balance transfer within 60 days of opening their account. After the introductory offer, a variable APR will be given.

Eligibility and Application

Interested applicants can apply online or by going to a branch near them. Individuals who are aged 18 years or older may apply. For residents living in Alabama and Nebraska, applicants must be 19 years of age or older. Only those who are residing in the United States will be considered for the application.

Apart from providing personal information, applicants will also be required to provide their Social Security Number. HSBC may ask customers to provide additional details such as employment and salary information, housing information, and other relevant information. If approved, a minimum credit limit of $500 will be given. This depends on the applicant’s creditworthiness.

Fees and Charges

While there are no annual fees for this credit card, a variable APR ranging from 15.24% to 25.24% will be given after the introductory offer of 0% APR. A late payment fee of up to $37 will also be charged in addition to return payment fees of up to $25. Transaction fees will also apply.
