US Bank Offering 25,000 Enrollment FlexPoints on Their FlexPerks® Travel Rewards Visa Signature® Credit Card

U.S. Bank is offering its FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature Credit Card. Under this, cardholders will be given the chance to earn 25,000 enrollment FlexPoints upon receipt of the card. This amount of points is equivalent to $375. Users can redeem this amount through a variety of options, including airfare, hotel accommodations, car rentals, and more. However, to avail this offer, customers are required to shell out $2,000 within the first four months of opening their account.

Apart from this offering, the U.S. Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature also allows users to gain double FlexPoints when they use their card at participating airlines, supermarkets, gas stations, and even most cell phone service providers. Customers can also double their points by providing charitable donations. However, cardholders are to be made aware that all other spending transactions outside of these will only garner 1 FlexPoint for every $1 spent.

5,000 FlexPoints are required to redeem any reward.

Eligibility and Application

Applicants who are interested to apply for the U.S. Bank FlexPerks Travel Rewards Visa Signature Credit Card must be a resident of the United States. In addition, applicants must be 18 years or older to qualify for the program. Individuals can apply for a card via online application.

Aside from personal information, the questionnaire onsite will need applicants to provide their country of citizenship and Social Security Number. Likewise, housing information, income and employment details will also be reviewed. Aspiring users will also be asked to disclose their interest in balance transfers.

Other identifying documents may be asked by the U.S. Bank. These include driver’s license and other similar documents. Approved applicants will be given a credit limit with a minimum amount of $500.

Card Fees and Charges

Interested parties would do well to remember that while there is an initial $0 introductory annual fee for the first year, the succeeding annual membership fee would amount to $49. The APR for purchases and balance transfers range from 16.24% to 26.24%. However, this APR will be dependent on the applicant’s creditworthiness.

Cardholders are also advised to take note of the late payment charge of up to $39 and returned payment charges of up to $35.
