The official DC Comics accounts (@DCComics) recently tweeted a photo of the superhero rewards credit cards. The cards are the result of a partnership between comic book giant DC Comics and multinational financial services corporation Visa. CNet said that the superhero-themed rewards credit card is focused on providing rewards and perks for entertainment-related purchases, as well as gas, dining, and travel spends.
The DC Power Visa offers three times points on entertainment transactions. According to the Terms and Conditions of the card, users will be able to get three points for every $1 spent on movie tickets, as well as streaming, cable, and internet services. Moreover, cardholders are entitled to two points for every dollar spent on restaurants, convenience stores, and gas. Lastly, a one is to one point-to-dollar ratio applies for all charges paid using the card.
Points can be redeemed in partner establishments and authorized channels. Moreover, holders who are able to spend at least $500 in purchases within the first 90 days can get $50 off on movie tickets.
Aside from earning points, the cards also get benefits such as discounts on various Warner Bros- and DC-related purchases. Users can get 10% off on DV Universe annual subscriptions. The same discount applies to online purchases at shopdcentertainment.com. A 20% discount applies to WB Studio Tour Hollywood and merchandise.
The card does not have an annual fee. However, it comes with an annual percentage rate of 15.74% to 25.74% for purchase and 27.74% for cash advances. A 0% rate applies for the first 12 billing cycles for balance transfers made within 60 days from account opening. After this, a rate of 15.74% to 25.74% or 27.74 applies depending on how the transfer is treated. Rates depend on the market-based Prime Rate.
Fans of the DC Universe will be pleased to know that the card comes in 7 different designs featuring 5 different characters namely Batman, Superman, The Flash, Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman. A Justice League design is also available.
